Description

The Delft Community Health Centre is an existing healthcare facility providing a comprehensive healthcare package to the community of Delft. Due to the increase of infectious diseases such as
Tuberculosis, HIV/Aids and other conditions in the Delft area. There has been a growing need for
support groups for individual patients to be educated on their condition and counselling services are
also made available to them. They also receive Anti-Retro Viral Drugs (ARVs) as stipulated by government. The Delft Community Health Centre already has a total of 2,604 patients receiving ART and the number is increasing to 65 patients per month. There has thus been a need to establish a new ARV Treatment Unit and upgrade the existing Pharmacy. (Statistic records dated back to 2011).
